What type of properties may participate in 2010 Accommodation?

Houses, Flats, Townhouses and B&B’s are all welcomed to apply. Please note that flats and properties in estates need to obtain prior authorization from their respective Body Corporates

What does the room rate include?

The soccer world cup accommodation rate shall be inclusive of the provision of bed and breakfast,unless in the case for Self-Catering Accommodation. Accommodation is provided in a family (private) home and the Owner/manager lives in the house or on the property. Breakfast must be served. Bathroom facilities may or may not be en-suite and/or private. In general, the guest shares the public areas with the host family.

Is there Administration Fee?

There is an administration fee of R1 500 that must be paid for registration, as per the contract. The R500 is for marketing, inspection and general administration. The R500 is not refundable and has to be paid before any bookings are made, but can be paid within 3 months of your registration either the total amount or in 3 installments. The balance of R1000 can be paid as you desire or it can be deducted from your bookings. Please use your reference number when making payments. The banking details are on the contract.

Please keep your original contract in a safe place as our consultant will request it on the inspection day.

What are responsibilities of Property Owner?

The Property shall provide, without additional charge, sufficient cleaning, linen, trash

removal, extermination and other regularly furnished services in accordance with customary standards for equivalent properties in the region in which the Property is located.

How are guests transported?

Property owners intending to transport guests from point A to point B for any reason with any type of a vehicle are obliged to have a valid PDP (Public Drivers Permit).
